Are you an experienced Adults Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity in a fast-paced, front-door service? We're working with a local authority in Beverley, East Yorkshire to recruit for an Independence & Advice Hub role - a key first point of contact for adults needing support, advice, triage and timely intervention.

The Role

As part of the Independence & Advice Hub, you'll be working in a busy and rewarding service handling:
  • Incoming referrals and triage
  • Screening and prioritising adult social care contacts
  • Providing advice, guidance and short-term intervention
  • Making informed decisions around risk, eligibility and next steps
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and partner agencies
  • Supporting timely access to the right services at the right time
This is ideal for someone who is confident in front-door social work, enjoys making sound decisions in a dynamic environment, and can balance pace with person-centred practice.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from qualified social workers who have:
  • Recent Adults Social Work experience
  • Confidence in referrals, triage and duty/front-door work
  • Strong understanding of Care Act responsibilities and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication, prioritisation and risk assessment skills
  • Social Work England registration
