I'm currently working with Middlesbrough Children's Services to recruit an experienced Locum Advanced Practitioner to join their Children's Social Care team.

The Role

As a Locum Advanced Practitioner, you'll provide practice leadership and support across the team, helping to improve outcomes for children and families whilst working on complex safeguarding and child protection cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supporting complex child protection, CIN and court cases.
  • Providing mentoring and practice guidance to Social Workers.
  • Supporting quality assurance and best practice across the service.
  • Working closely with Team Managers and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

βœ… Qualified Social Worker

βœ… Social Work England registration

βœ… Significant post-qualified Children's Social Care experience

βœ… Strong safeguarding, child protection and court work experience

βœ… Experience supporting and developing other practitioners
