Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for a fully remote opportunity within a Front Door and Assessment service?
We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Social Worker to join a busy Front Door & Assessment team. Whilst previous Front Door experience is highly desirable, we would also like to hear from strong Children's Social Workers who can demonstrate the right skills, knowledge and assessment experience within safeguarding and statutory children's services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can hit the ground running and is available to start without delay.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Care Wales registration
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience gained within permanent roles
  • Strong assessment, risk analysis and safeguarding skills
  • Experience working within statutory Children's Services
  • Ability to manage referrals, conduct assessments and make informed recommendations
  • Confident decision-maker capable of working autonomously in a remote environment
  • Availability to commit to the next three months

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Front Door and Assessment work within Children's Services
  • Screen and assess incoming referrals
  • Complete timely child and family assessments
  • Analyse risk and identify safeguarding concerns
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals
  • Ensure robust recording and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Contribute to positive outcomes for children and families
