Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs and risks of children and families to develop and implement effective care plans. Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health and education professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for children. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the welfare of children. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families in crisis situations. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and needs effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
