We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our CLA Team in Leeds. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions to children in need of care and protection.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs and risks of children and families to develop and implement effective care plans. Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health and education professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for children. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the welfare of children. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families in crisis situations. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and needs effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Provide high-quality social work services to Looked After Children and their families Conduct assessments, create care plans, and monitor the progress of children in care Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic support Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure they are safeguarded Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required
