We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Leeds, offering a competitive rate of £37.00 per hour. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding children and ensuring their welfare while working collaboratively with families and other professionals. Your expertise will contribute to creating a safe environment for children at risk of harm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. Providing expert advice and guidance to social work colleagues and stakeholders. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of children. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence when necessary.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
