Caritas Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Haverhill Social Care Team.
This is a fast-paced frontline role working with children and families across a range of statutory services, including Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, Child Assessment, and Support & Prevention.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake assessments for children aged 0-17Manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plansHold and progress complex caseloadsWork directly with children, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomesContribute to a busy assessment service and provide support throughout the child's journeyRequirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationPrevious experience within an Assessment Team is essentialStrong knowledge of:Child in NeedChild ProtectionLooked After ChildrenAssessmentsSupport & PreventionAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on Offer
