Locality Team Advanced Practitioner | Redcar & Cleveland
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locality Team Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Redcar & Cleveland. This pivotal role will involve providing high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families within our community. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will lead assessments, intervention plans, and support the development of less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for children and families.
- Providing expert guidance and mentorship to social workers and support staff.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with local policies and regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in children's social work.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
