Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children’s Services (CSW) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families within our community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting their development and welfare.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA Hons in Social Work, MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's services and understanding of relevant legislation. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
