Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a qualified and experienced Children's Team Manager (CWD Team) to lead our dynamic team in providing exceptional support to children with disabilities and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

As the Children's Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality social work services. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and support for children with disabilities. Developing and implementing service delivery strategies that align with best practices and legislative requirements. Working closely with families, schools, and external agencies to coordinate services and advocate for the needs of children. Conducting regular supervision and performance appraisals, promoting professional development and team cohesion. Monitoring and evaluating service outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
