Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Blackpool as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in protecting and supporting vulnerable adults within our community. In this position, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are upheld. Your expertise will help us enhance the quality of life for those in need, while promoting their independence and wellbeing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and potential risks. Developing and implementing personalized care plans in conjunction with service users and their families. Working closely with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding measures are in place. Providing advice and support to individuals and families regarding safeguarding issues. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with legal and organizational requirements.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a keen understanding of safeguarding legislation and frameworks.
