Join our dynamic Children's Social Work - Children and Families Team in Oxfordshire, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in need. Your expertise will be essential in assessing situations, implementing care plans, and providing support to vulnerable populations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Engaging with children and families to promote positive change and empower them towards self-sufficiency. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance your professional development and practice.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on assessment findings.
