We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Family Safeguarding Team in Lambeth. This role offers a competitive rate of £41.10 per hour on an Umbrella Company basis. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a critical role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their needs are met through effective interventions and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for families.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to social work staff, promoting best practices in safeguarding.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to family support.
  • Managing complex cases, including those involving risk assessments and safeguarding concerns.
  • Contributing to team development and training initiatives to enhance service delivery.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
