Join our dedicated Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities Team in Blackpool, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker who is committed to making a difference in the community. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their needs and preferences. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to create and implement tailored care plans. Providing guidance and support to clients and their families, ensuring they are informed and empowered in their care. Monitoring and reviewing care plans regularly to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Advocating for clients' rights and access to necessary services and resources.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
