Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and safety of children.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
