As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children and Families (C&F) Team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing intervention plans, and ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe and nurturing environments for children, empowering families, and facilitating positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework and interventions. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to case discussions. Adhering to statutory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations.To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's social services, preferably within a C&F team. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
