Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community, working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans for children and families in need.
  • Managing a caseload of complex cases and ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to provide support and guidance.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in children's social care, preferably within a safeguarding context.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
