The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Team – Family Support and Child Protection (TM - FSCP). As a Qualified Social Worker in our TM - FSCP team, you will be responsible for:
Assessing the needs of children and their families, ensuring that interventions are tailored to individual circumstances. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective support services. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to provide guidance and support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children’s services, particularly in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
