Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting families? We are seeking a dedicated Parenting Assessor to join our team in Swindon. In this vital role, you will work closely with families to assess parenting capabilities, ensuring children are provided with safe and nurturing environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding interventions and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive parenting assessments to evaluate family dynamics and parenting practices. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Providing expert recommendations based on assessments to inform court proceedings and social care interventions. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Offering support and guidance to parents and caregivers to promote positive parenting skills.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in social work, particularly in parenting assessments and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
