Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and support.
  • Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
