We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our CP/Court/Permanence Team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children at risk
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Supporting children in care to achieve permanence and stability
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, court work, and permanence planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
