We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Adults Social Workerto join Buckinghamshire Council's Adult Early Resolution Team - the fast-paced front door service providing early intervention and timely support to adults across the county.

πŸ’Ό About the Role:

As part of the Adult Early Resolution Team, you will be the first point of contact for adult referrals, undertaking strength-based conversations, triaging cases, and supporting effective interventions to prevent escalation.

Key aspects include:

  • Conducting face-to-face visits across Buckinghamshire

  • Minimum 2 days per week based in the Aylesbury office

  • Making swift, solution-focused decisions to improve outcomes

  • Working in partnership with families, carers, health professionals, and community services

βœ… Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in adult social care (preferably front door/early intervention)

  • Strong assessment and decision-making skills

  • Car driver with access to own vehicle is essential
