Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support.
- Providing direct intervention and therapeutic support to children and young people experiencing various challenges.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and educators, to ensure holistic care for service users.
- Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children and families.

Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Demonstrated experience in working within Children and Young People's Services, ideally in a statutory setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and welfare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
