Key responsibilities and duties:
- Assessing the needs and circumstances of UASC to develop personalized care plans.
- Providing emotional support, advocacy, and practical assistance to help UASC navigate the asylum process and adjust to life in the UK.
- Liaising with relevant agencies, including immigration services, legal representatives, and healthcare providers, to ensure the well-being of UASC.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of UASC, identifying any risks or safeguarding concerns, and taking appropriate action.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate support services and interventions for UASC.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
