We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our CIC Team in Redcar and Cleveland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being and safety.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other multi-agency meetings.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals.
