Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker in the Children & Families Team in Gloucestershire. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children within our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans and intervention strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families to support their development and well-being.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to coordinate services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
