Join our dynamic Assessment Team in Devon as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about social work and committed to delivering high-quality assessments. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing support plans, and ensuring the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals. Your expertise will contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for those in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's and adults' needs, risks, and strengths. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate care and support. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that promote well-being and independence. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with organizational policies and procedures. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the assessment process.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in assessment, including knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
