Join our dedicated team at Camden as a Qualified Social Worker in the Fostering Team, where you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of children and young people in foster care. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact and ensuring that every child has a safe and nurturing environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care strategies that meet the unique needs of each child.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers and children. Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed. Working closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies.

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in fostering or child protection work, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
