Join our dedicated team in Gloucestershire as a Children’s Social Worker within the Children & Families Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing support plans tailored to individual family circumstances.
  • Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
  • Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate support.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and court proceedings when necessary.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and family support work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
