As a member of our Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing support and guidance to children and their families.
  • Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local and national policies.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation and best practices in social work.
