Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Join our Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Devon, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker who is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and ensuring their voices are heard.

As a member of our CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children with disabilities. Collaborating with families, multi-agency partners, and other professionals to deliver integrated support services. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to statutory requirements and best practices. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to reflect on practice and share knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and an understanding of relevant legislation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated Children's Social Work – Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Devon, where you will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of children and young people with disabilities. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services. Your expertise will help facilitate positive outcomes and empower families through tailored interventions and resources.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of children and young people with disabilities. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and support for children and their families.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England.
