This role offers a unique opportunity to work with families during a critical time in their lives, ensuring the safety and well-being of unborn children while supporting parents through the challenges they face.

As a member of the Pre Birth Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of families and their needs to identify risks and protective factors. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to parents, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Collaborating with health professionals, midwives, and other agencies to promote the best outcomes for children. Documenting case progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and pre-birth assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Proficiency in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
