About Us:
Caritas Futures is supporting a Local Council for the role - Children and Family Personal Advisor to providing exceptional support to children, families, and young people. We are currently looking for an experienced Children and Family Personal Advisor to join our team and make a positive impact on children and families leaving care.

Role Overview:
As a Children and Family Personal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people transitioning from care. You will provide practical guidance, advocacy, and emotional support, ensuring that children and families are empowered to move forward with confidence and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored advice and support to children and families, with a focus on those leaving care.
  • Assist in creating and implementing personal development plans, helping young people navigate life after leaving care.
  • Offer practical and emotional guidance to ensure that young people have the necessary tools to thrive.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of services to ensure a holistic approach to support.
  • Work directly with children and families to assess needs and provide appropriate interventions.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current DBS on the update service (or the willingness to obtain one)
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and helping them make positive changes in their lives.
