Social Worker - CIC team - Derbyshire County Council

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) team.   • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
