We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Assessment and Staying Together Team in Staffordshire. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting families and individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments to determine the needs of children and families, and developing appropriate care plans.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to families to promote positive outcomes and prevent family breakdown.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate services and support for clients.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other meetings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and interactions with clients.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a social care setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
