We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's DTM - MASH Team Social Worker to join our team in Wigan. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the risks to children and young people who may be in need of protection.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with other professionals Attending case conferences and court hearings to provide evidence and recommendations Working closely with partner agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within children's services Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
