We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team in Lewisham, specializing in Adolescent Family Help and Safe Space services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to adolescents and their families in crisis situations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of adolescents and their families to develop tailored intervention plans. Providing individual and group counseling to adolescents to address emotional and behavioral challenges. Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for families. Advocating for the rights and best interests of adolescents within the child protection system. Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification. Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date with CPD requirements. Demonstrated experience working with adolescents and families in crisis situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
