We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Adult's Social Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Team in Bath and North East Somerset. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and developing care plans tailored to their specific requirements. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, service users, and their families to deliver person-centered support. Advocating for the rights and choices of individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Participating in safeguarding procedures and risk assessments to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable adults. Engaging with community resources and support networks to enhance the social inclusion and quality of life for service users.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with adults with learning disabilities in a social care setting. Strong assessment and care planning skills, with the ability to implement and review support packages effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build trusting relationships with service users and stakeholders. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social care and learning disabilities.
