We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Looked After Children Team in Islington. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people who are in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for looked after children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to support children's needs Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court hearings as required Advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring their voices are heard Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working within a Looked After Children Team or similar setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
