The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Good understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.
