The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families within our diverse community. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing intervention plans, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that promote positive outcomes. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
