We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AMHP Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Rotherham. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services, supporting individuals in crisis, and promoting recovery through effective interventions. As an AMHP, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess and implement care plans tailored to the needs of our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of individuals experiencing mental health crises. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Providing expert advice and support to other professionals and agencies regarding mental health legislation. Facilitating access to appropriate services and resources for clients and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC). Significant experience in mental health practice, including AMHP training and qualification. Strong understanding of mental health legislation and best practice guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
