We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Leaving Care Team in Sutton. This role is pivotal in supporting young people transitioning from care to independent living. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with young adults aged 16-25, providing them with the guidance, resources, and advocacy they need to thrive and achieve their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with young people in a social care setting, particularly with those in or leaving care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of young people.
