Social Worker - Court Team - Children in Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Court Team, focusing on Children in Care. This role is crucial in ensuring the welfare and protection of children placed in care, working collaboratively with families, legal entities, and community resources. As a vital member of our team, you will advocate for the best interests of children, conduct assessments, and provide support throughout the legal process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing care plans for children in care.
  • Representing the agency in court proceedings, providing evidence and recommendations.
  • Working closely with families, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in compliance with legal and agency guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work and hold a valid social work license. Additionally, you should have:

  • Proven experience in child welfare and court-related social work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child protection.
