We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lancashire - QSW - Child & Youth Justice Service professional to join our team at a competitive rate of £36 per hour. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and advocating for children and young people involved in the justice system.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and young people in the justice system
  • Providing direct support and intervention to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes
  • Liaising with external agencies, courts, and legal professionals to ensure the best interests of the children and young people are met
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate services and support

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registration with HCPC
  • Experience working within Child & Youth Justice Service settings
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Additional requirements for this role may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to different locations within Lancashire.
