We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Learning Disability & Autism Service team at BANES. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's unique requirements
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Advocating for the rights and best interests of service users
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of individuals and adjusting interventions as needed

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
