We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Locality Team in Stroud, Gloucestershire on a part-time basis. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and interventions to vulnerable children, young people, and families within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of service users
  • Undertaking direct work with children and families to promote positive outcomes
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated support
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to safeguard and protect vulnerable individuals

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, court work, and safeguarding practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
