We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Community Team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and families in the community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Providing ongoing support and intervention to ensure the safety and welfare of children. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings. Working closely with other professionals to deliver coordinated services and support to families.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.Additional requirements and benefits:
