As a Children's Social Worker in our C&F Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children.
  • Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and guidance.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national policies.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
