As a Children's Social Worker in the LAC/CWD Team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including:

  • Managing a caseload of children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children in care and/or children with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
