Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to improving the wellbeing of children in our community.

As a Children's Social Worker in our C&F Team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and guidance. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national policies.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
