Join our dedicated team in Oldham as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's SW - Duty/MASH Team. We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of child protection, working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns in a timely manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and investigations regarding child welfare. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement child protection plans. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national guidelines. Providing support and guidance to families to enhance their capacity to care for their children. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's services, particularly in duty or MASH settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
